Why I Love San Francisco Bay Coffee

I’ve quit coffee so many times throughout the years and I recently started up again after about a year off of it. I always thought it was so great that I could kick my coffee habit, but then I realized—why quit something so harmless that truly makes me happy? Did I quit just to prove to myself that I was stronger than the addiction? Maybe.

I probably quit coffee for the same reasons that I once quit grains, gluten, sugar, and all processed foods, too. I thought it would be healthier for me. Now I’m realizing that practicing self-care and working on my mental and emotional health are just as important as eating healthy, and if coffee is something that brings me joy and happiness first thing in the morning, why would I walk away from that?

San Francisco Bay Coffee

When I first got my Mr. Coffee Single Cup K-Cup brewing system, I hadn’t even thought about the waste factor of using K-Cup pods. I was mostly interested in how delicious these single cups tasted and how quick and easy it was to brew a single cup of coffee in the morning.

After I started learning more about the wastefulness of K-Cups, my husband learned about San Francisco Bay Coffee and ordered me a box of the Rainforest Blend for Christmas. I was instantly hooked! I love my coffee completely black (the stronger the better), and these K-Cups are perfect!

Plus, I don’t need to feel guilty about brewing a cup and then throwing the K-Cup in the trash. San Francisco Bay pods are 100 percent biodegradable! And since there’s no plastic, which brings up an additional set of environmental and health concerns, I can feel better about my health as well.

Why Biodegradable?

The amount of plastic K-Cups that end up in landfills each year is outrageous. More than approximately 18,000 plastic K-Cups end up in landfills each minute! That’s pretty insane. Sure, plastic K-Cups make one delicious cup of coffee, but is it really worth it when you can get an amazing cup of coffee by choosing San Francisco Bay instead? Plus, San Francisco Bay coffee also comes in organic flavors and bags as well, if you don’t use a single cup coffee maker. They even offer free shipping for orders over $30.

Check out their amazing selection of coffee and switch to earth-friendly coffee, which is better for the planet and your own health.
